As the name implies, cultured marble has the look of genuine marble. It is a "reproduction" of natural marble similar to the cultured pearl as compared to the natural pearl. For decades, cultured marble has been the most popular choice in bathrooms over plastic laminate or tile due to its rich visual texture, durability, ease of maintenance and affordability.

Cultured marble features a high gloss finish that is a result of casting the polyester mixture into highly polished molds which have been coated with a gel-coat finish. Cultured marble is solid to the touch and it weighs approximately the same as natural marble. Vanity tops with integrated bowls, for example, are cast in one solid piece with no seams, no lines, and no caulk joints.

Therefore cultured marble reduces the possibility of leaks, mildew growth, and stains making cleaning easier and less frequent.

Cultured marble is durable, seamless, water and mildew resistant, affordable and it is beautiful.
